Tim Gagnon

Tim Gagnon was born in Northern Maine and currently resides in Castle Hill, Maine, surrounded by rolling hills and forests.  Tim has been drawing and painting from a very young age.  He attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle for Fine Art.  During this time Tim began exploring how he could pursue art as a career.  He began networking online and found that the internet was a great opportunity for artists.  Once college was completed he was able to work as a full time artist selling his artwork and teaching people how to paint online. 

 

The Northern Maine landscape has been the primary inspiration in Tim's work. Tim views the landscape like it is a story.  When painting his landscapes he tries to create a mood or a feeling.  He finds that the sky plays a very important role in his paintings to create a certain atmosphere.  His style is a mixture of impressionism, realism and a touch of surrealism.

 

Tim's popularity has grown very quickly online.  He has paintings hanging in homes in all 50 states, and 20 different countries.  He has also taught his landscape painting techniques online to over 500 people all over the world.
